patients on a 29 bed unit. Rotated as

relief charge nurse; supervising staff members(LPNs, Techs, RN's ) and

participating in daily mission meetings.

-Perform patient assessments and provide bedside

intervention as per medical needs. Educate patient and patient families in

order to provide a better outcome and include patient and family members in

caring for the patient.

-Administer medications to the patient using the five

-Administering direct patient care to patients with a

diverse level of respiratory illnesses. Caring for patients with

tracheostomies,ventilator dependent patients, and those requiring

respiratory treatments.

-Discussing patient care with physicians to provide the

transfer from the ICU or to the ICU depending on patient condition.

-Administering EKGs to patient experiencing adverse cardiac

provided physicians with information beneficial or potentially harmful to

the geriatric population. Attended NICHE conference in New York City 2006.
