Planned 32 joint force missions between Coalition and Afghanistan Forces in the Ghazni Province.

Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader /April 2012 –July 2013

1-87th IN, 1 BCT, 10TH MTN Division, Fort Drum, NY/ Ghazni, Afghanistan

Deployed to Afghanistan from Jan2013-Oct2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF 13/14).

During which I led a 24 man Heavy Weapons Platoon in a direct supervisory role for 10 Non Commissioned Officers and

14 Soldiers.

Developed training exercises and validated my platoon’s responses to probable volatile situations.

Identified by the Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel as the top 5 out of the 32 Platoon Leaders rated

within the battalion; while my platoon was rated first of four in the company.

Selected by the Brigade Commander (Colonel) to lead his Immediate Reaction Force and the only platoon

tasked with this vital mission.

Directly provided Support to Coalition and Afghanistan Forces in 60 missions with land and air assets.
