As the GM my duties included maintaining 4 retail locations. I did the purchasing of accessories, mobile
handsets, marketing, advertising and branding. It was my responsibility to stay up to date with all new
equipment, features, rate plans and any industry changes then relay all information to our sales team via
email, weekly conference calls or sales meetings. I was in charge of accounts payable and receivables. I
wrote all employee commission plans and adjusted accordingly to the carriers adjustments of our commission
schedules. I also built, implemented and maintained our POS system which was RQ4. I was in charge of all
the hiring, promotions and terminations of employment. I built and maintained our network system, domain
and serviced all of our computers.
Being an Exclusive Partner of at&t sales was our main goal with a very strong focus in delivering a great retail
experience and providing exceptional customer service that was second to none. I worked alongside everyone
of our team members not only as the GM but as a sale rep from the meet and greet to the close, shaking their
hand, thanking them for their business and walking them to the door.

I started as canvassing manager for this company. It was my duty to drive a crew around to go door to door
to gain sales for the sales reps. That is how a majority of the preset appointments were set then confirmed.
Since never being in the market of canvassing I was curious of how it works. I decided to not only manage
the canvassing team but to also canvass. In doing so I believe it advanced my growth in sales in many areas
including one of the most important, overcoming objections.
I then moved into sales a very short time later. I had preset scheduled appointments that I went to on a daily
basis. This was an in home sales/demo on windows, doors and/or siding. I would have to measure and evaluate
their current windows, doors and/or siding and show them how making the purchase of our products would
save them money in the long run by reducing their heating and cooling cost due to the efficiency ratings of
the products I offered.

appraisers, investors and clients to fulfill their needs to ensure each unique loan was originated with the
customers best interest in mind from the meet and greet to the scheduling and closing of the loan.
As a branch manager my responsibilities included finding new lenders with unique lending programs to fulfill
our client's needs and assisting each loan officer with questions that may arise. I was in charge of all accounts
payable and receivables, payroll, marketing, record keeping and safe guarding client information.

My wife and I bought Sun Quest Tanning located in Churubusco, IN. This small town tanning salon had been
in business for 8 years and had five 20 minute base beds. Then shortly after taking over the salon we added
a computer system to track our customer data base and our sales. We also introduced a tri-level lotion line
which includes a low-end, medium and a high-end to give our customers more of a selection.
2008
After seeing a steady increase in cliental we decided to expand and plan a remodel. We built an additional 1500
sq feet and added one 12 minute mega bed, two 12 minute super beds and a UV free mystic spray booth. We
changed the whole décor including floors, lighting, colors, furniture and a wireless t-max timer system. After
the remodel we saw a 40% increase in cliental over the next 24 months. The tanning salon is still providing
a great experience for all of our customers.
