Coatings), Wilmington, DE (Summer 2013)
• S tudied the impact of coatings spray application equipment on various
coatings performance properties.
• Conducted statistically designed experiments to measure particle size,
particle velocity and color to correlate with equipment type.
• Determined the process conditions (pressure) could be adjusted to provide
equivalent final properties using various commercially available spray
guns.
• P resented experimental results to technical community.
