Project: MWD Legacy Conversion

Client: Schlumberger

Tools: Pro/E Wildfire 3.0, GEMS

Description: SPC (Sugar Land Product Centre) is one of the technical

centres of Schlumberger MWD (measurement while drilling) is

a group in SPC. MWD legacy conversion is the conversion of

AutoCAD drawings to PRO/E models and drawings. These

drawings are related to the drilling equipment in the

oilfield machinery. Expectations of the client were

exceeded.

Highlights:

. Handled project, evaluated & adjusted new designs

. Looked after detail drawings and adhered to the standards as well as

updated the previous records of the products with new standards

o This included part modeling, assembly and detailing of the products

and uploading the models in GEMS (PLM/PDM Software) for production and

future reference

Project: LWD Legacy Conversion

Client: Schlumberger

Tools: Pro/E Wildfire 3.0, GEMS

Description: LWD legacy conversion is the conversion of AUTOCAD

drawings to Pro/e models and drawings. These drawings are

related to the drilling equipment in the oil field

machinery

Highlights:

. Served as a project team member

. Designed and created assembly drawings entailing bill of materials and

detail drawings for existing AutoCAD drawings

. Updated the previous records of the parts and uploaded in GEMS for

production

Project: Wire Line Project

Client: Schlumberger

Description: Expedited the inputs provided for the modelling and

assembly of the wire line equipment.

Highlights:

. Handled modeling and detailing of wire line equipment in the oilfield

machinery

. Designed and created assembly drawings including the bill of materials

in Pro/E and uploaded through MX-Pro in to GEMS (e Matrix solution.

Updating the GEMS records of the products modeled

. Tracked records till the production of the parts (from created to

released state) using ECO (Engineering Change Order)

Project: Landing Nipples- Go Green

Client: Schlumberger

Tools: Pro/E Wildfire 3.0, GEMS and AutoCAD

Description: SRC (Schlumberger Reservoir completions) is one of the

technical support centres of Schlumberger.

Highlights:

. Worked on the modeling and detailing of the modified top and bottom

thread connections of the Nipple, using Pro/e part, detailing and

AutoCAD

. Re-designed existing products using geometric tolerance standards

o These data and models were later uploaded in GEMS for their

manufacturing process

Project: Single Component Test Stand for S200 Motor

Description: As a part of the GSLV MKIII Project, S200 motor is to be

tested, to obtain the properties like axial thrust, burning

time etc. Responsibility in the project is to model and

detail the parts of the swing bench type single component

stand and to promote them for analysis.

Project: Saddle Assembly for S200 Motor

Tools: Pro/E 2001

Description: As a part of GSLV MKIII Project, S200 motor is to be

tested, to obtain the properties like axial thrust, burning

time, etc. A Saddle Assembly is required for placing the

S200 motor for testing. The components in assembly were

modelled, assembled and detailed. They were promoted for

the analysis and production

Project: Link Assembly for S200 Motor

Tools: Pro/E 2001

Description: As a part of the GSLV MKIII Project, S200 motor is to be

tested, to obtain the properties like axial thrust, burning

time, etc. Link Assembly is required for the placement of

the S200 motor. There are many subassemblies in the Link

assembly. These sub-assemblies and link assembly were

modelled and detailed using Pro/E.

At S & H Resources Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India CAD Engineer

Project: 3D Modelling, Detailing & Automation

Software Used: Pro/E 2001 and AUTO CAD 2003

Description: Primary responsibility is to support in the evaluation of

the new designs and detail drawings, which included

modelling and detailing of the components.
