Develop and execute long-term supply strategy deployment for Punita Leathers Inc and its China vendors.

Direct import, shipping and logistics supply chain management for this wholesale business- to-business provider

of retail general merchandises.

Collaborate with company’s China team to assist the business in its efforts to outsource components, sub-

assemblies, and complete products in China.

Identify specific items for outsourcing in China and send out specifications/drawings for quote, analyze

quotes, recommend most competitive bid, ensure PO placed for 1st Articles and follow through until items

approved for production.

Promote and maintain strong business relationships with vendors to ensure that materials and services are

delivered in the shortest lead-time, at the lowest cost, and at the highest quality possible.

Establish inventory levels of raw materials and component parts and maintain minimum inventory levels

consistent with productions and sales demands. Secure sources of supply on new and improved materials,

tools, services, and manufacturing supplies in partnership with sales group and agents.

Maintain vendor quality program. Develop and maintain successful vendor relationships (e.g. ocean

representatives, freight forwarders, custom brokers, local pickup and delivery companies, regional trucking

companies, line haul providers) as well as other co-load carriers.

Ensure all vendors meet service standards and provide the best possible price and service. Contact vendors

to expedite delivery of purchases, correct invoice errors, negotiate scrap credits and adjustments, and obtain

satisfactory arrangements.

Prepare required correspondence to expedite purchase materials, revise or change purchase orders, effect

cancellations, improve terms, and obtain bids.

Ensure proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, for imported and

exported shipments to trade-lanes and clients.
