My education and experience in the field of Automotive Trim began in 1971, with what I will label the

Fundamental Building Blocks of learning the trade of Automotive Trim.

After years of experience and practice in pattern development, sewing and installation I became versed in

every facet of Automotive Trim.

My experience and knowledge includes:

• Creating innovative seat and interior designs

• Seat and pattern development by interpreting blueprints

• Modifying and creating headliners, door panels, carpet and dashboards

• Converting hardtops into convertibles

• Installing sunroofs

My 35 plus years in the field of Automotive Trim have afforded me to participate in the development and

presentation of Auto Show and Concept Cars for General Motors.

This experience occurred while being employed at Paul’s Auto Interiors in Pontiac, Michigan.

My assignment was to develop the patterns, sew the patterns and install the finished product on a Convertible

Fiero Concept Car.

The experience and challenges I have encountered have made me an excellent Trouble Shooter and

Problem Solver.
