Pursuing my masters in Electrical Engineering at University of Colorado, Boulder.

Looking for an internship to improve my knowledge and skills in the field of embedded systems.

Three publications in various fields to expand the scope of embedded systems as an undergrad.

Keen Interest in Real Time Operating Systems, Embedded Systems, Image processing, Parallel

Computing, Data Structures, Data Compression and Encryption in audio & video.

Educational Qualifications:

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Expected May 2015)

University of Colorado, Boulder GPA: 3.65

Courses: Real Time Embedded Systems, Advanced Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems Design & Mobile Sec.

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication July 2013

University of Mumbai GPA: 3.75

Recent Projects:

Autonomous Car with Object Detection & Collision avoidance (Sept. 2013- Dec. 2013)

Created a driver for a 4-wheeled Real Time Embedded System project in C on a Vxworks platform

which detects objects regardless of its shape and size in real time.

Designed a device driver to store the stream of images in a circular buffer. Designed a message queue

(POSIX) for communicating with a slower peripheral (motor).

Texture Based Image Retrieval using GPU (Sept. 2013 - Dec. 2013)

Accelerated the performance of a texture analysis algorithm using a multithreaded GPU program in

CUDA (algorithm for retrieving similar images from a database)

Exploited the large number of cores on a GPU architecture to optimize the performance of the system. A

3x increase in performance was achieved over a serial implementation.

A Low Cost Smart Watch (Feb 2014- Present)

Implementing drivers to Interface various kinds of sensors as compass, accelerometer, thermometer, etc

using I2C protocols to acquire and log the data inside an eeprom and on a graphical LCD.

Acquiring this data on a server using Bluetooth SMD module RN-42 in a UART mode, as soon as the

database overflows. A USB battery level manager makes it portable and charges it, if required.

Tool for data encryption and digital signature gen. using ECC (Sept. 2013- May 2013)

Implemented data encryption & digital signature algorithms in Elliptic Curve Cryptography in Matlab.

Designed GUI of this application to allow the user to change the parameters of the ECC and document

the change in performance. It serves as an alternative to Cryptool for future research on ECC.
