At Oracle Corporation, Managing and overseeing the team for configuration management and release of all

deliverables for the CRM, Financials, and Procurement products in Oracle E-Business Suite. There are

approximately 100 products in these product families and consumer base of around 2000 developers.

Responsibilities include -

• Lead various projects and key player in Oracle EBS release 11.5.6, 11.5.8, 11.5.9, 11.5.10, 12.0, 12.1,

and 12.2 from initiation to closing for Release teams. Included planning / setting schedules and

providing information and gathering feedback to and from senior management and consumer base of

around 2000 developers followed by build and install test of code. Branching of code for maintenance

was also done after every release. Supervised testing of Build (online Patching) using adop (Prepare,

Apply, Cutover, Cleanup).

• Managed and Implemented Oracle Product, OQO (Oracle Quality Online, part of Oracle EBS 11.5.6)

for Ecommerce and Eservices group. Hence, creating a centralized Task Management System for the

entire Ecommerce Organization. This system is primarily geared towards managing internal tasks and

updates, reports for management and for cross communication between various teams - Development,

Release, Operations, QA, Documentation, Product Mangers, throughout the organization for various

deliverables.

Client, Compaq Computer Corporation, (Corporate Returns System)

The modules of Oracle Financials used were OE, AR, INV and GL. This involved handling of incoming and

outgoing data files in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange using 180, 861, 864, 870, 863), flat file formats. We

developed interfaces, which populated the application tables based on the data received from EDI services.

Similarly there were interfaces, which extracted data from application tables and transferred data to EDI

services.

Client, KMART Corporation (Import Management System)

Designed and implemented system interface. The company had a bottleneck and issues with their process

involving - receive all the merchandise from overseas at one place and then distribute to the respective

distribution centers (DC’s). Earlier on they used to order the same item for different DC’s separately and thus

higher transportation cost, clerical cost etc. Moreover the Allocation of merchandise was done at a very early

stage i.e. at the time of ordering. With the implementation of this project the allocation could be done at the time

of receipt of material at the dock. The designed system has an interface with other systems i.e. Allocation,

Overseas Offices, Buyers, Consolidators, Deconsolidators etc. The inbound and outbound interfaces were

accomplished by using various EDI transactions namely (861, 850, 856, 810, 310, and 315).
