I have worked extensively in tourism and have vast experience working with the public for
National Museums Liverpool and Spaceport. I was the Gallery Manager of Art Galleries
at National Museums Liverpool.
In addition to the day to day running of the art galleries I have also had considerable
experience of organising a variety of different events, from exhibition openings to the
official re-opening of the Walker Art Gallery by the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh in July
2002. And the opening of Spaceport in 2005
I like working as part of a team, but my experience managing several different busy
public attractions means that I am also able to use initiative when faced with difficult
decisions.
I have completed my degree studying Graphic Art at John Moores University in
whichI obtained a BA with Hons. I have experience working in the following creative
programmes; Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign & Aftereffects (CS4, CS5 and some
CS6).
As well as Final Cut Express and Istopmotion. I have also experience using Dreamweaver
and Flash. I have also worked with Microsoft Word and Excel and Powerpoint.
I was part of a group of designers who re branded the Plaza Community Cinema,Waterloo
Liverpool.
I have completed some free lance work for a small marketing company producing ads
for national broadsheets.
I am continuing to re brand a local artists company and online Gallery. And several
freelance jobs which were all completed on time and on budget.
I designed all the publicity and stationary used for a photographic exhibition for young
photographers from disadvantaged backgrounds. The client, The Pilgrim Arts Centre
showed the exhibition on site at Pilgrim Street.
The exhibition then moved to Fact and then on to The Floral Pavilion New Brighton.
I have experience working in a TV art department for Kudos Film Productions for a 6 part
TV drama (Utopia) screened Jan 2013 on Channel 4.
I have recently worked for Millgate Education ltd on an 8 month contract, while there
I worked on publication layout, illustration and design work for their product catalogue
and up and coming publications in their Concept cartoons range of products.
I have completed a course in CPWEMI certificate in preparation for working in the
engineering and manufacturing industry
