• Recycled or recommended termination for new recruits who did not have the
aptitude to be a police officer.

absence to ensure Department goals and objectives were met.
• Coordinate Civil Disturbance Unit (CDU) training and squad leader during protest
(IMF, Right to Life, Peace Summit, and Inauguration) and unusual and major

• Represented the Commanding Officer in his absence during weekly Patrol Service
Area (PSA) Crime Prevention Meetings.
• Recommended and monitored cost saving measures for the Commanding Officer
to reduce unnecessary overtime and compensatory time reduction during the
Second Watch. The Commanding Office is rated on overtime reduction by the
Chief of Police.
• Developed and instituted topics for in-service training during roll calls.
• Designated and assessed duty assignments during major incidents/unusual
incidents to use later as a training tool.

statements from the drivers of such vehicles. Also, responsible for removing the
wreckage from the spot of an accident and handling the traffic is the duty of the
traffic police.
