Lead Information Technology Engineer

• Lead developer for Java SE system for the MRTA which is an R&D system for NASA next

generation GPS satellite constellation deployment.

• Member of SW development team for JIMIS which is a modernized information maintenance

system. Technologies employed were C, C++, and Oracle RDBMS.

• PI for multiple internal R&D investigations. Responsibilities included research plan

development and implementation; hands on execution of the research and experiment

methodologies; compilation and integration of experiment results; monthly activity report (MAR)

creation; and authoring major portions of the final reports. Examples of technologies utilized for these

projects include Java SE, Java EE, Matlab, XML, C#, Net-Centricity, SOA, LDAP, JavaScript, and PKI.

• Conducted security risk and vulnerability assessments for applications, architectures, and

systems.

Tool examples include: Nessus, HP Fortify, and Nikto.

• Evaluated results returned from SQL queries for combinations of database architecture

designs and tradeoffs. Discriminant parameters included were the degree of table joins; database

tuning levels; and database optimization constructs. RDBMS tool was ERWin.
