Projects
Design a Start-up Scuba Diving boat Manufacturing Organization at University of Houston- TX February 2014
• Define an organization structure, goals and objectives for the specified organization.
• Create a Work Breakdown Structure, Linear Responsibility Chart and Gantt chart.
• Evaluate the total cost of the project (Bill of Materials and Human resources).
OVERCURRENT RELAY: Differentiation between SIEMENS’ overcurrent relay and SCHNEIDER’s Micom relay at
University of Houston- TX December 2013
• Difference in the functions, construction and insulation properties and Curve plotting of either relays.
• Different test performed on the relays i.e., EMC test. Environment conditions compatibility of either relays.
Design of Intelligent Parking system at University of Houston- TX December 2013
• This project design takes Nios II as control core, uses two ultrasonic sensors to detect the entry and exit of vehicles.
• The ultrasonic sensor which works on the principle of radar senses the entry of a vehicle by echoes received.
Design of AC and DC Power flow at University of Houston- TX March 2013
• Designed a program in Matlab for a 8-bus power transmission and distribution system considering all the
specifications. Running the 8-bus system for the AC power flow and DC power flow so it satisfies the load
conditions considering the transformer rated values and the short circuit condition for both AC power flow and DC
power flow under the worst case scenario using the Newton-Raphson method.
Design of Substation and Transmission line at University of Houston- TX November 2012
• Design of an indoor substation considering the sizing of the cables and all the other technical information used on
the professional basis using SKM, considering the regulations from IEEE red book, gold book and followed the
NEMA, NFPA, OSHA standards.
Water Level Controlling and Monitoring at Jawaharlal Nehru Tech., India April 2011
• Developed an embedded system, which is a wireless water level indicator by using RF. This project is implemented
8051 based AT89S52 developed board interfaced with RF Transmitter, RF Receiver, Encoder, Decoder, Buzzer and
LCD for displaying the data.
Honors and Awards
• PRESIDENTIAL GRAD FELLOWSHIP scholarship 2012-2013
Extracurricular activities
• Coordinated the national level symposium ELIXIR-2012 at Jawaharlal Nehru Tech.
