• 2004-2013 – Director of Purchasing and Material Control – TODCO – Division of Overheaddoor

Corp.

Negotiated Supplier Agreements for all three TODCO plants (2 US and 1 Mexico plant). Part of the

Overheaddoor Corporate Procurement Council for Global Sourcing/Purchasing Initiatives. Teamed with other

Directors, Commodity Mgrs. and Global Sourcing VPs to help leverage total spend and synergize and coordinate

transitions where leverage achieved. Sourced actively offshore in China, Taiwan and Mexico.

• 2000-2004 – Procurement Mgr. – Parker Hannifin Corp.

Designed and maintained Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs for total purchased inventory for main

production facility. Worked closely with vendors performing on sight ISO audits on an annual basis. Provided JIT

training and Point of Use concepts. Provided feedback and support on Quality issues to help resolve corrective

action issues to support continuous improvement. Responsible for maintaining total purchasing system, inventory,

Vendor sourcing and quality systems relating to the supply base. Lean Procurement Champion for Hose Division.

$1M in cost reductions implemented and $500K in inventory reductions over three years.

• 1998-2000 – Production Coordinator – Parker Hannifin Corp.

Responsible for all scheduling of production equipment, maintaining all levels of Raw Material Inventory and

Finished Goods Inventory. All purchasing of materials and shipping activities for finished goods to the DCs. A

group of 5 salary employees reported to me to support these functions with various hourly employees reporting to

them.

• 1995-1998 – Production Planner – Parker Hannifin Corp.

Responsible for all scheduling of production, inventory and production throughput of production for 13 work

centers to finished goods inventory. Set JIT deliveries for timely work center throughput of production. Worked

closely with Production Management and Quality Depts. to facilitate and meet schedules.

• 1989-1995 – Production Supervisor – Parker Hannifin Corp.

Supervised 35-45 employees in eight departments in a unionized manufacturing environment. First Team Leader

in the Parker Targets program for Continuous Improvement. Recruited hourly employees to troubleshoot, resolve

and monitor production problems through Task Force methods. Instituted continuous running operations in key

operations improving efficiencies and productivity.

• 1988-1989 – Quality Lab Technician – Parker Hannifin Corp.

Responsibilities included performing compounding and mixing procedures critical to the making of batch rubber

for the development and making of high pressure hydraulic hose. Performed chemical testing of ingredients and

evaluations of oils concerning rubber compounds and other rubber synthetics.
