• Responsible for accurately processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for a non-
profit organization with employees based in Nashville, Puerto Rico and Guam.. This
included the use of ADP Pay-Expert for processing the payroll, creating manual checks,
creating reports for the finance department, managers reports and 401k reports for plan
administrators.
• Utilizing Workforce Now Time and Attendance to capture hours worked and exception
hours to create the payroll files for processing payroll as well as the maintenance
necessary to keep the software accurate with the company needs (adding, changing,
updating employee records and year- end maintenance for the system.
• ADP Reporting is used to generate ad-hoc reports as needed by managers and
management. ADP Reporting is used to create standard reports each pay period for GL
processing and month end closing.
• Verifying wages and taxes for Guam on a bi-weekly basis as ADP has a separate process
for completing the tax filings for the Guam employees to report accuracy to the
government agencies located in Guam.
• Responsible for processing bonus payrolls as needed. Completed year- end adjustments,
verified quarterly and annual taxes. Reviewed and balanced W-2’s prior to them being
released to the employees.
• Set the pay-cycle schedules for payroll and Workforce now for upcoming year.
• Worked closely with Human Resources to ensure accuracy of employee records.
• Maintain accurate deductions and processing of wage assignment received by different
agencies.
• Maintained close interaction with employees while training them to use the time and
attendance program .
• Accounts payable for vendors and tax agency. Recording and copying all documents for
reference if needed in future. Assign proper GL numbers for accounting.
