Successfully completed turn-key design and installation of an Amine Unit,

Oxford International Contract Jan. 2007 - Feb. 2008
Successful completion of one-year contract with Oxford International for
Shell Refinery in Washington and Western Refinery in El Paso, TX (reference
letter available upon request). Engineering projects in several processing
units (including Fluid Cat Cracker, Alkylation, Cat Polymerization, Boiler
house. Scheduling, budgeting, process safety management.

Automation Coordinator/project manager using Microsoft Project for Pfizer
in Kalamazoo, MI and Eli Lilly in Indianapolis, IN.
Marathon Ashland Refinery Contract (St. Paul, MN): Fall turnaround
supervision and pre-turnaround work - August thru October 2002: Managed
Fluid Cat Cracker - Gas Compression & Frac. unit on time and on budget.
Utilized a 50 - employee strong team of welders, pipe-fitters, millwrights,
boiler makers, electricians, etc. Also completed some work in civil and
structural repairs and upgrades.
Aerotek (Milwaukee, WI): Completion of bulk saline heparinization project
for BD Medical, March 2002 - May 2002. Successfully completed project in
three months. Including upgrading, validating, and commissioning clean
room. The work included HEPA filtration, increasing HVAC air changes, and
humidity control system upgrades.
Oxford International (Corpus Christi and Pine Bend) July 2000 - Sep. 2001.
Contract Engineering Project Manager. Completed $35 million oily water
sewer project (Pine Bend, MN). Successfully managed Coker heater re-tube
during Corpus Christi plant Fall turnaround in 2000, plus several small
projects (including rotating equipment).
Pfizer (Lincoln, NE) Contract Pharmaceutical Project Manager (through
Aerotek of Omaha) Sep. 1998 - Mar. 2000. Successfully completed over fifty
projects. This work included conversion of office and warehouse space into
clean room laboratories. I also upgraded existing laboratory HVAC, and
brought two old labs up to specifications.
Nabisco Bakery (Buena Park, CA) Temporary Contract Project Engineer: Feb -
July 1998.
I completed twelve projects to improve bakery operations (refrigeration,
trash disposal, packaging, and compliance).
ARCO Refinery (Los Angeles, CA) Contract Project Engineer and Manager from
Jan. 1991 - Feb. 1998 Completed many projects and coordinated work during
five major turnarounds (including scheduling using Project and P-3). Worked
as construction superintendent building a large propane system.
JATO Dynamics Automotive Software Researcher. (Pinner, England) Jan. 1990 -
Jan. 1991. While working from home in Los Angeles, California, I completed
a one year contract to gather and enter data into the JATO Automotive
Comparison Database. In addition, I served as a West Coast USA customer
service representative.
Subaru Technical Center (Westminster, California) Sep. 1986 - Dec. 1989.
Originally hired as an Automotive Accessory Development Engineer, I moved
to the Product Planning Department immediately after accepting the
position. Successfully completed the Product Plan (model lineup and
marketing strategy) for the Subaru Justy, Legacy, and Leone.
Aurora Pump Company (City of Industry, California) Nov. 1984 - Aug. 1986
(when the company closed down). I worked as an API vertical pump design
engineer standardizing parts and introducing CAD until the plant closed.
Crown Refinery (Pasadena, TX) June 1981 - Nov. 1984. I started as an intern
with Crown until December 1982 when I graduated from the University of
Houston with a Mechanical Engineering degree and became a full-fledged
Maintenance Engineer. I worked on a variety of multi-craft small
construction projects until the plant-wide layoff in 1984.
