Performed analysis on field data recorded in accordance with Mass DEP I/I guidelines to identify cost effective repairs to the BWSC’s sanitary system.

• City of Gloucester, MA Valve Exercise Program/Uni-Directional Water System Flushing Plan: Assisted in developing and implementing a system-wide program to locate, document and operate approximately 1,200 valves within the City’s water system. GPS equipment was used to

physically locate each valve and hydrant to create a GIS water layer using ESRI ArcGIS 9.0 which was integrated into the City’s existing GIS program. Prepared AutoCAD-based maps and figures along with data sheets for a City-wide uni-directional flushing plan. The water system was divided into 12 separate flushing areas, with specific maps and data sheets developed for each area.

• Town of Southbridge, MA Water System Model Update/Analysis: Provided support in updating the Town’s existing water distribution system hydraulic model to incorporate recent system improvements.
