. Conduct detailed visual inspection of routine and non-routine initial

and final inspection of airframe, including Power Plant, fuel systems,

. Completed various repairs on Pratt & Whitney JT8D-15, JT8D-JT219,

2000 and 4000 series of engines, GE CFM56 and Trent engines and

Pratt/Rolls Royce V2500 engines.

2000 series engine, fan blade restoration, oil duct re-torque and

. Conducted various types of non-destructive testing (Zyglo, Magnaflux,

eddy current, ultra sound) on engine parts and components.

. Completed and received training by Ridgewater College for the

Certification of Level I & II Zyglo and Magnaflux NDT testing.

. Worked engine module inspection (engine mounts and hardware, high

turbine, high compressor, low compressor, engine driven gear box).

engineering authorization and air worthiness directives were completed

to build NWA engines or sold to other airlines around the globe. The Box

Aircraft Maintenance, 1990 to 1996,

. Chosen to be a team member on the Boeing 747 ARMAR (Aging Aircraft

Program) working on various aircraft (Douglas DC 9, DC 10, Boeing 727,

757, 747 and hangar maintenance).

. Selected to become a team member of the Engine Shop first in engine

balance, high and low turbine, high and low compressor, gear box,

engine Mod 1 & 2 blades and vanes extensive time on the engine tear-

down crew.

. Other areas involved during this period were the rigging shop, wheels

and brakes, landing gear and engine mounts.

REPUBLIC AIRLINES-NORTHWEST AIRLINES

Ground Support Equipment Mechanic, 1986 to 1990,

. Conducted preventative maintenance and routine maintenance to all

Republic-Northwest owned ground support equipment (tugs, bag carts, belt

loaders, aircraft tow tractors, catering trucks and deicing trucks.

. Other duties of the GSE mechanic were various facility maintenance

building and maintaining offices, ground air start units, ground

power units to jet bridge maintenance including power paint and tire

changes.
