Human Resource Management

administrative functions for several Turnkey execution projects and toll

plaza projects across India, along with a HR & Admin team of 10 people.

. Managing HR functions for various key projects including Water supply

projects in State of Gujarat, National Highway Projects i.e Salem-

Coimbatore Road Project, Jalandhar-Amritsar Road project, Indore-

Gujarat/MP Boarder Road Project, and Raipur-Bilaspur Road Project and

Raipur-Titlagrah Railway Project (RVNL).

. Managing the HR functions for a work force of over 1200 people spread

across various locations in India.

. Recruited over 250 people for managing projects across various locations,

hired people with varied skill sets including 1000.

. Inducted over 300 new resources into various departments and divisions.

. Responsible for managing confirmation, performance appraisal and employee

evaluations on a regular basis.

. Increased the employee satisfaction from 60 to 80 over a period of 10.

o Preparing and maintaining relevant documentation reading all EHS

and QMS activities.

. Ensuring smooth coordination between the site and head offices.

absenteeism, facilities, accommodation, office management, cafeteria

. Reduced the vendor expenditure by 100, handled a network of over 200

vendors.

units and other departments.

. Manage the office budgets, profile expenditure, ensure effective use of

Employee Welfare and Industrial relations

. Ensuring compliance to Contract Labour act.

. Played a major role in obtaining district trade certification and

pollution control board certifications for production units and looking

for implementation of the same.

. Actively involved in liaising with:

o Government departments in the state government, for obtaining

various grants and permissions.

o Authorities for land acquisition and no objection certifications

for issues such as mining approvals, blasting approvals and forest

approvals.

o Pollutions control Board license, factory license and labour

license (central).

o Authorizes for factory registration certifications and responding

to legal issues.

. Managing vehicle accidents and get releasing of vehicle through court and

insurance claim related follow-up and third party claim.

. Passing of Workmen Compensation Award from the local labour court from

the workmen compensation commissioner to the dependents of the expired

person.

. Getting approval for Consumer Pump setup from District collector as well

as Joint Chief Controller of explosives.

. Got mining permissions, blasting permissions, new vehicles registration,

vehicle permits and quarterly taxes and their renewals.

. Managing annual returns under minimum wages act, 1948

. Completed the COD Documentation work for Salem-Coimbatore Road project in

State of TamilNadu and Jalandhar-Amritsar Road Project in State of

Punjab, with a team of over 30 members.

. Conducted Site Acceptance Test (SAT) along with Independent Consultant

before initiating plaza operations.
