Answered incoming provider phone calls to provide benefit quotes and answer questions for open
enrollment period. All of our calls were taped and reviewed. Both times I had the review, I scored
in the 95% range. I was also part of the tem that received recognition for a successful Open
Enrollment period in 2014. I then progressed to Provider Data Management Department to enter
provider information into Facets system so claims could be processed correctly.

USA. Utilized 3M and QuadraMed Encoders and SoftMed, EPIC, McKesson and other
abstracting systems.

My first travel assignment was at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, NY. I worked on one day
surgery and ancillary records on QuadraMed’s encoder there from 3/2006 to 6/2006.
My major project for KFORCE involved working with the Guthrie Health System located in the
Southern Tier of NYS and northern Pennsylvania. I worked in 22 of their clinics where I was
working with an EPIC team to begin the conversion of their paper records to an electronic format. I
was there from September, 2007 until June, 2008.
I was then sent to Grand Rapids, MI to a facility to assist with coding ER records. This is where I
learned the McKesson abstracting system. After training/coding for 4 weeks there, I was able to
work remotely and finish the last 4 weeks of the project at home.
Precyse, Inc. 2008 2010
During 12/08 to 9/2009, I coded at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. I was
initially assigned there to code ER record backlog. Since the Lourdes Coding Technicians were
attending a CCS program, I also coded inpatient records, same day surgery and ancillary records
to assist them . I had my first QA Review from a Precyse Auditor while I was here and I scored in
the 93% range.
In addition to Lourdes Hospital, I spent one month at a hospital outside Oklahoma City, OK where
I performed ICD 9 coding and abstracting on ER and ancillary records. Following this, I spent
November, 2009 through February, 2010 at a hospital in Zanesville, OH where I coded and
abstracted ER and ancillary records utilizing the 3M encoder, in addition to assisting with
correcting coding errors that were delinquent.
1999 2/2006 SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY
Outpatient/ ER Coder and Abstactor Applied ICD 9 and CPT 4 codes to Emergency Room
records. Abstracted and leveled these records. I also trained on One Day Surgery records. I
utilized Soft Med abstracting systems here.
SUNY Upstate is classified as a Trauma 1 facility and also has a pediatric ER. They service
several Upstate NY counties with trauma cases. I coded difficult cases as well as a high quantity
of records.
We had monthly QA peer reviews where I consistently scored over 92%.
