Currently serve as a Senior Engineering Technician/
Construction Inspector for this Engineering Consulting
firm. Inspect construction activities, conduct concrete
and soils tests, and supervise the activities of junior
inspectors. Confer daily with contractors and project
management to resolve problems, and prepare detailed
reports of inspection activities.

Ohio Turnpike Commission:
. Westbound/Eastbound Right 2 Lanes and Shoulder
Reconstruction MP 164-169.
Complete replacement of approximately five miles of 2 lane
highway, including bridge deck repair and overlay.
Responsible for accurately reporting quantities of
materials installed, manpower, and equipment used. Senior
inspector reporting to Resident Engineer. Primary area of
responsibility was inspection of work on four bridge decks
and their abutment and approach slabs. Inspected approach
slab removal, excavation of existing sub-base and
replacement of same; new approach slab construction and
bridge deck hydrodemolition, repairs, and overlay. Also
inspected guardrail replacement, barrier wall construction,
and asphalt paving.

Project consisted of installation of dynamic messaging
signs and pole mounted closed circuit TV cameras at
approximately 120 locations around the Cleveland area.
Most of the contractor's work involved getting power to
these sites. Inspected trenching and installation of
electrical conduit and pull boxes, cable pulling, camera
pole installation, and sign foundation construction and
installation. Responsible for accurately reporting
quantities of materials installed, manpower, and equipment
used.

foundation and slab on grade construction of a
complex of one and two story buildings; verified
foundation bearing capacity, inspected masonry,
plumbing, and structural steel. Inspected
architectural brick work. Supervised 1 or 2 other
inspectors. Wrote detailed daily reports of
all inspection activity and materials test results.
