Hardware Infrastructure Implementation/Support: In partnership with external service

providers (outsourcers), manage Ammann & W hitney’s infrastructure/help desk

personnel who provide 1st and 2nd level support of Ammann & W hitney’s desktops,

servers and peripheral devices. Encompassing hardware installation, software

installation/upgrades and problem diagnosis/resolution.

Email/Calendar: Manage Ammann & W hitney’s Lotus Notes hosting email/calendar

Telecommunication components would include LAN, WAN, VPN and off ice telephone

system.

End-User Support: Provide oversight of frontline support of company's technology end -

user community both personally and throughout the IT team. Responsibilities include

application training, helpdesk services, problem logging/tracking /dispatch/status

reporting and system access/security administration (Active Directory).

Vendor Management: Perform vendor management services for all technology

product/service providers including hardware/software/services procurement

Project Management: Perform periodic technology project management tasks including

work plan development, resource planning,.

Budget – Manage departmental and regional budget planning process.

Staff Management: manage a staff of 3-6 in all regions comprised of both application

analysts/business analysts and infrastructure/help desk staff along with all performance

reviews and standard staff management activities.
