Datwyler Pharma is a multinational pharmaceutical packaging
manufacturer. Responsibilities of this position include a wide
variety of engineering assignments including: development and
implementation of corporate vision inspection process equipment,
technology transfers, validation of new equipment as well as
acquired assets, equipment upgrades and equipment modifications
in support of new manufacturing processes. Plant layout and
process flow development. Participated in lean activities to

implemented sterile packaging line in support of a 20 million

2003 to 2006 Project Engineer, Jerome Medical
As Project Engineer I design medical products for the orthopedic
market: Control FDA/ISO compliant design process as part of a
cross-functional design team. Effectively re-designed a
cervical restraint system utilizing injection molding. This
modification lowered the product cost by over 50%. Documented
design processes including: development of design inputs,
outputs, verification, validation, design review and transfer to
manufacturing. Developed new vendors to fabricate finish and
package the product. Transferred the sterile packaging process
to a new vendor. Developed packaging protocol, which
essentially lowered sterile packaging costs by 30%. Performed
vendor audits, which fulfilled ISO and FDA requirements.
