Responsibilities
Each day I had direct supervision of adult individuals affected by developmental disabilities in different settings
of the community. I provided teaching opportunities, options for informed choices, also follow safety guidelines
for their plan of cares. I also physically assisted the adults being served with transferring to different pieces
of equipment or to areas in the community. Lastly I helped the clients with good personal hygiene, daily living
skills, transportation, took inventory of vehicle maintenance and first aid supplies.
Accomplishments
The impact I had during my time with this company was building close bonds, communications skills, trust,
and a healthy support system with the adult clients.
Skills Used
The skills I demonstrated at this job were good organizational skills, promptness to appointments and meetings,
good team work and people skills, basic computer skills, filing, charting, receiving and returning phone calls,
distributing books to different companies in town for a reading program that rewards children with books for
going in and getting their shots and check ups. Lastly I helped plan and set up benefit dinners we would have
each year.

The responsibilities I had each day was assisting residents with transfers to and from wheelchairs, and beds,

vital signs when needed; chart vital signs and behaviors, assist with perennial care, and inventory of supplies
needed for the different residents.

The impact I had while working for this company was making the residents feel comfortable, and in a home
setting.

timely matter, and also keeping residents information private and confidential.

Responsibilities
Each day I assisted developmentally disabled individuals with everyday activites that would help integrate
them into the community, and would help them with their social skills. I also assisted them with classes and
assignments that they were given to do by the school district to give them the option in receiving their GED.
I also assisted with finding them part time and full time jobs that they would have the option to succeed at,
and grow.

the clients grow in different settings.
