General Electric, Greenville, SC 5/12-2/14 Contractor

Gas Turbine Control Systems Engineer Designed and wrote programs to control the operation of new unit gas turbines.

Engineered and designed control loops and wire interconnects between 79 subassemblies and the main turbine

assembly, to include but not limited to all wire interconnects and cable assemblies. Developed Alarm Management

Systems for SCADA on the HMI using Cimplicity. Authored ISO Procedures, Quality Management System Documents

and Project Lifecycle Management step by step procedures. Completed Cost and Cycle Estimates for customers

requesting add-ons. Restructured software programs to make turbines more efficient using instruction blocks/ladder logic

on the Mark IVe DCS. Worked on P&ID’s and E & I plans with the customer to determine what was required for the Gas

Turbine at the customer’s site.

United States Army, Taji, Iraq 12/10-02/12

Avionics System Repair Supervisor for all military aircraft while deployed with the Army in a combat zone. Troubleshot,

repaired and installed wire bundles and cable assemblies in military aircraft.

Round Mountain Gold Corporation, Round Mountain, NV 06/10-11/10

Electrical Technician in a gold mine troubleshooting all electrical equipment used in the process of gold mining. Including,

but not limited to conveyor systems, transformers, power feed-thru, 7.2KV loaders, the mills, plants and refineries used in

the processing of the gold. Made adjustments on the HMI screens for the SCADA system that provided feedback for the

levels in the various formula ponds and tanks and the conveyor systems.

BIS Tepsco, Inc., League City, TX 12/07-05/10

Instrumentation, Controls Systems and Electrical Engineer in an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Company.

On-site at numerous client sites providing engineering support activities during shut-downs and turn-a rounds. Worked on

E & I scopes of work to bid on projects. Red-lined P&ID’s for designers, Conducted E&I requirements with meetings with

the customer, process engineers and P&ID designers. Participated in weekly project update engineering meetings.

Designed, specified and completed specification forms for instrumentation on new and existing projects and equipment.

Engineered and designed control loops and wire interconnects between the sub-assemblies and the main assembly on

numerous modular pieces of equipment to be assembled together and monitored by PLC’s and DCS’s. Planned and

coordinated automation of a liquid natural gas dehydration facility for a leading energy company. Adhered to all applicable

safety compliances and requirements to include NEC, the International Maritime Organization, Federal Energy Regulatory

Commission, Department of Transportation, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Department of Homeland Security to ensure

operations are safe and secure.

Client companies worked for while at BIS Tepsco included:

Nisseki Chemical as an Electrical Project Engineer on a power upgrade project, Instrument Reliability project and

numerous other projects.

FMC worked on a Safety Instrumented System / System Integrity Level project.

Ineos worked as Instrument and Electrical Engineer on major turn-a round and shutdown.

Atmos Energy worked on major increase in production for a liquid natural gas dehydration facility increasing from one

compressor to three compressors.

Emerson Climate Technologies, Ava, MO 6/04-11/07

Maintenance Technician Installed, maintained, and repaired electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems that

included mills, lathes, robots, conveyors, compressors and boilers in an industrial manufacturing facility. Developed and

implemented a variety of cost and labor-saving equipment, including a visual system that checked the completion of the

machined and engraving on the machined parts and through a SCADA System sent the data to the control room. Scroll

compressors were fabricated and I aligned and repaired the rotary equipment used in the fabricating the scroll

compressors and the final product.

SEQUEL CORPORATION, Willow Springs, MO 08/01-5/04

Electrician/Electronic Technician Installed, maintained, and repaired electronic and electrical equipment in an industrial

manufacturing facility.

THE CESSNA AIRCRAFT COMPANY, Wichita, KS 02/99-07/01

Avionics Electrician on the Flight Line Installed, maintained, and repaired avionic, navigational and communication

equipment on jet aircraft. Troubleshot any electrical issues with wire bundles installed on the aircraft. Completed Electrical

Tooling boards and jigs that electrical wire bundles were constructed on. Completed continuity test on wire bundles to

insure proper assembly of wire bundles.

ELECTRONIC SENSORS, INC., Wichita, KS 05/96-01/99

Electrician/Electronic Technician for installation and customer assistance in sensory automated systems with electrical

and electronic PLC's, sensory level devices that included sonar, radar, capacitance and pneumatic measuring and

monitoring equipment. Connected the level gauging equipment to SCADA Systems that relayed the information to

vendors. The vendors would plan delivery of product to their clients through this information.
