Currently, employed with Standard Functional Food Group since making the move from Ft. Payne, AL to Nashville, TN in June 2013. Due to extensive experience in the field, I was hired in at level III out of 4 levels as a Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Maintain and perform repairs on assigned mechanical equipment and controls as well as various other electrical and mechanical systems on 4 different lines. The lines run world renowned products such as GOO GOO Clusters, Kellogg’s and Post brand products; weekly, bi-weekly and monthly preventative maintenance examinations on all machines for all four lines; electrical experience includes the ability to completely re-wire ADCO, Vari-Straight, 3FK’s, JR’s and multiple conveyors, assemblies and set-up for a variety of different products.

Employed for 8 years with Renfro Corporation as a maintenance technician, specializing in the maintenance and operation of circular knitting machines.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Manage 50 circular knitting machines by ensuring efficient equipment operations, daily equipment maintenance and reviews, resolving issues with non-functioning equipment by identifying defective parts, replacing said parts and testing to ensure top equipment performance; To ensure we maintain the company goal of 88% daily production, I am responsible for replacing air valves, wiring and all electrical components as part of my daily duties and job expectation, using a combination of hand and air tools, as the job requires.

In addition, performed maintenance on die tubs, ensuring all pumps in working order to meet daily production goals by inspection and preventative maintenance of air valves and pump drains to operate in conjunction with timers.

Keep all yard threaded up to avoid blowing off access lent and ensuring all machines were cleaned and oiled daily for top production. Preventative maintenance included daily inspection of machine wires are connected properly to avoid down time and loss of production due to equipment malfunction.
