Operations Manager of groundwater treatment facilities at Hill Air Force Base. During this time
earning my BS in Environmental Science. I also served in the US Army with an Honorable

Manager
• Operated and Managed 12 groundwater treatment facilities at Hill AFB. This included
operations and maintenance, personnel management, safety compliance, budget and
reporting.
This included managing accounts with multiple vendors and clients.
• Project manager at three groundwater treatment facilities at Ogden Defense
Depot. Two out of the three facilities were decommissioned due the groundwater being
successfully treated, freeing up over 100 acres to be turned over to Ogden City for
development. Worked with several regulatory agencies including Army Corp of Engineers,
OSHA, BRAC, Material Command, State and Federal EPA and the Defense Logistics
Agency.
• Technical support for various projects including mine remediation, soil vapor extraction,
wetland creation, construction oversight and process optimization.
• Other roles included being safety representative during company’s transition to a behavior-
based safety program and report writing.

• Technical support for optimization and partial rebuild of three groundwater treatment
facilities at Ogden Defense Depot that resulted in previous incompliant facilities becoming
compliant.
• Lead technician for company's LUST (leaking underground storage tank) program in Utah.
This
included investigating, designing and implementing cleanup solutions for multiple
UDOT and private sites across Utah.
• Sampling Technician for groundwater and soil at multiple government and private
sites throughout the inter-mountain area. Used several types of sampling equipment.
• Soil profiler for monitoring and water well drilling. Familiar with drilling standards
and geologic formations.

Lead Operator
• Tooele-Lead operator at a groundwater treatment facility that remediated
chemically impacted groundwater at Tooele Army Depot. Responsible for all operations,
maintenance, sampling and reporting. Managed two other operators on a 24 hour
emergency call out schedule.
• Houston TX- Water Treatment Operator at a 75 mgd culinary water facility. Responsibilities
include chemical deliveries, system adjustment, water testing and minor equipment maintenance.
• NY-Operator groundwater treatment facility were process included liquid and vapor phase
carbon absorption, chemical injection and air stripping.

• Water Treatment Specialist- Treated water for soldier in sever different countries
including Germany, Honduras, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq. Used several different
process including reverse osmosis, UV and coagulation methods.
