Responsible for content and management of the company’s annual reports

meaningful written and visual communications to investors. This included
quarterly results, webcasts and presentation support materials.

Initiated intense use of e-commerce, internet and technology-driven solutions for
marketing the services and products of this large financial services organization.
Working with outside agencies, I developed a new corporate identity and
guidelines that provided a cohesive look and brand message to all television /

included, but was not limited to, writing copy for printed materials, email
promotions, and internet / website content.

Responsible for the marketing and communication ef orts for this direct selling
company that develops and brings to market science-based nutraceuticals to
consumers within the growing health & wellness marketplace; of ering a unique
range of products in the booming anti-aging niche.
Key focus on e-commerce and leveraging the power of the internet to create
exponential growth by increasing both customer and distributor base through
dynamic and aggressive use of multiple channel marketing. Writer and design
lead for corporate website and e-commerce promotions.
Identify and write communications designed to generate positive PR and
valuable media exposure for the company and its continually growing range of
products.
Responsible for creative design, development and execution of multimedia
promotions, keynote presentations by senior executives, training materials, and
media hype for live events with attendance of 20,000 plus.
I was the key player in a vital undertaking to bring all existing marketing
materials into compliance with FTC regulations and to establish processes and
safeguards to ensure all materials met with strict governmental regulations and
guidelines. The company had been levied a fine of nearly $1 million and by my
ef orts in establishing compliance guidelines, the fine was ultimately reduced by
more than 50% .
Worked closely with scientists and pharmaceutical teams on new product
development, marketing programs and promotional materials in an easy to
understand language and with clearly designed formats.
Concept designer and writer for new direct selling sales publication, Metabolic
Living, which sold over 450,000 copies in the first three months - ef ectively
increasing real sales volume for this fast growing pharmaceutical, nutrition and
wellness company.
Group Communications and Marketing Manager
Alticor (Amway) Corporation - UK & Europe 1993-2000
Strategic lead within marketing and communication departments based in the
UK, Ireland, Netherlands, France and Belgium.
Worked closely with senior management and CEO to develop presentations,
speeches, talking points, community and employee presentations. Acted as
“voice” for CEO in written publications, press releases and internal
communications.
Identified the opportunity and subsequently launched a highly ef cient program
that brought key publications, catalogues, and sales materials from six European
countries together into the UK of ce where these were produced in multiple
language versions without loss of design quality or individual country identity.
The economies of this initiative saved the corporation over one million dollars
annually.
Developed and oversaw creative standards, which included corporate and brand
identities, training materials, sales collateral, sales marketing conferences. Also
designed company trade show booths, stands, event showcases, and other
related visual and media materials for various corporate events throughout the
UK and Europe.
