More than One and half years working with data management and data analysis using SAS and SQL
working in South Carolina department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC) with eHARS
(HIV/AIDS Reporting System) and ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program) datasets that has nearly a
million data entries.
• The work includes Community Viral load trend changes over time in SC, Individual viral load trend
changes over time in SC, and drug change of HIV/AIDS infected persons, Associations of urban/rural
residence with HIV timing.
• The work also includes finding the transition probabilities from detected viral load to undetected viral
load and vice versa.
• The responsibilities are data management that includes data sorting and data merging techniques with
different datasets and applying modeling techniques.
• The main challenge is to merge the drug information as HIV diagnosed people take different number of drugs
and different combination of these drugs constitutes a drug regimen.
The accomplishments include one journal article and 6 publications currently under draft form.

the state of South Carolina.
• The responsibilities include data analysis and its interpretation and data management. Modeling
techniques were also used for the analysis.
