Products include frequency converters, UPS's, transformers and custom
containers. Handle all aspects of health and safety for the company.
Formed a Safety Committee comprised of members from all facets of the
company. Handle all agency requirements for product (UL, CSA, ETL).
Perform incoming inspections and supplier qualification audits. Head up
the company's ISO9000 compliance.
Thermoforming Technical Service Engineer May 2005 to June
2006

Worked with customers of Kl ckner Pentaplast film to resolve any and all
issues. 50-75% travel, both domestic and international. Prepared film
performance reports for upper management. Led trials of new material at
customer's facility. Worked booth at trade shows. Handled customer
complaints and resolutions. Interacted with pharmaceutical staff on film
issues and resolutions.

Started as Design Drafting Supervisor (1984-1994). Handled all aspects of
design and drafting for the company, including product design and tool
design in Chillicothe OH. Promoted to Configuration Management Supervisor
(1994-1998) and streamlined the engineering change process, implemented
FMEA, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, computer-aided design and
drafting and ISO9000. Served as an internal quality auditor and was
Engineering's representative on the ISO team. Moved to Quality Assurance
for Sourced (overseas) Products in 1998. Traveled extensively to Mexico,
Hong Kong, Taiwan and main land China to qualify suppliers and improve
their processes and also, build relationships with top tier suppliers.
Travel was approximately 25-50% of job responsibilities.
Tool Designer
January 1977 to August 1984
Various companies-Dayton OH
Worked at Riverside Tool & Die while completing Associate Degree in Tool
Engineering from ITT Technical Institute-Dayton OH. Started as a detail
draftsman and progressed to Tool Designer. Designed many metal stamping
dies (standard, transfer, progressive) and also, plastic injection molds.
After leaving Riverside Tool & Die for increased responsibilities, worked
for CW Design Services, Megacity Tool, Rapid Design Service, Tech
Development and Modern Industrial Plastics (division of Duriron Co.).
Designed automotive stamping dies, deep draw dies and progressive dies.
Interacted closely with tool & die makers and mold makers. Did some
product design and special machine design as well.
