Supervisor

CS MANUFACTURING - Cedar Springs, MI - May 2010 to Present

Responsibilities

Manage the production of inlays in our thermoforming department. We currently run two 8 hour shifts five days

a week. We run a lot of overtime currently. I ensure that we make quality parts all day every day. I do mold

changes, die changes, material handling, trouble shooting, plan schedule, and run samples to name a few

of my duties.

Accomplishments

Since I began we have more then doubled in size. We make more inlays then ever before, and we are in the

works for doubling in size again with new business from our customers.

Skills Used

I am skilled in the operation of our thermoforming press. I do light mold and trim die repairs. I work closely with

our scheduling department, engineering department and tooling.

Process Technician

I coordinated the build of all tooling used in the production of automotive inlays. I worked within the die shop

and worked closely with them, engineering, production, scheduling, and outside vendors that did work for us.

SKILLS

I have been in manufacturing for the past 20 years. I have been in many different positions in those 20 years,

from injection molding machine operator, material handler, mold setter, assembly, process technician, project

coordinator, and supervisor. Majority of those 20 years has been working in the plastics industry, injection

molding and thermoforming. I started making little more then minimum wage in 1994 to making approximately

$60,000 a year. Skills Used I am skilled in the use of lift trucks of various styles and sizes. I was actually

trained by crown industrial trucks on how to train others in the proper use of industrial trucks. I have used over

head cranes also.I am also familiar with many types of injection molding machines, from engel, hpm, van dorn,

and others. Thermoforming machines I have used are Lyle industries, sencorp, and keifel. I have experience

in Microsoft office and project. I have taken college courses in CAD, inventor, solid works, and mechanical

desktop. I have experience working with vendors, suppliers, and customers.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

While at GRCC I took two machining classes were I was trained to use lathes, mills, and Cnc mills and lathes.

I also took a mold design course.
