For over twenty-nine years I have been employed in numerous capacities supporting the provision of our
nation’s blood needs at the American Red Cross. I am seeking an opportunity to utilize my proven skills to lead
employees to success and achievement in fulfilling the corporate mission. Most recently I served in a senior
management level position reporting directly to the CEO with responsibilities for supervising all activities in the
blood collection department. In total, I have the following more specific key job experiences:
Chief executive officer;
Seventeen years in a senior management role supervising middle level management;
Managing logistics of 20+ daily blood collection operations including dispatching of staff, supplies and
equipment in a six state area from 8 locations;
Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulating agencies including the FDA, OSHA, DOT
and DOH;

Long and short-term strategic planning;
Collaborating and developing relationships with other community based organizations to plan joint
initiatives;
