Twenty five plus years working in the commercial vehicle market with Navistar, PACCAR, Freightliner and
Volvo designing rear driving axles, front steering axles, front and rear suspensions, air brakes, chassis, cab,
creating a virtual development process ( ADAMS modeling, finite element analysis, solid modeling, CFD ),
vehicle dynamics, structural dynamics, lab. testing, vehicle testing and data collection. Worked in front of the
production release process with advanced engineering projects and then in the release process to the start of
production. Created department and project budgets with timing, manpower requirements, equipment, materials
and facilities requirements.
Heavy experience in steel and aluminum fabrication and machining using: certified welder ( mig, tig, arc, gas in
all positions ), cutting ( gas, plasma, laser ), metal fabrication ( shears, rolls, brake press, forming, iron worker,
punch press, stamping ), assembly, castings, forgings, metallurgy, machining ( lathes, mills, drilling ).
