The project has different applications like PLINES (Personal Lines), CLINES

(Commercial Lines), and MSTAT (Master Statistics). The Personal Lines

application has different LOB's like PICS and VICS.

PICS - Property Information Control System is all about insuring the

personal property. It also contains three sub applications each catering to

a different line of business or a policy scheme. They are Home Owners,

Dwelling Fire and Personal Catastrophe Liability. VICS - Vehicle

Information Control System is used to process personal auto policies for

Selective Insurance. This processing includes policy entry, renewals,

endorsements, MVRs (Motor Vehicle Requests), cancellations, reinstatements,

hard copy policy production, online inquiry and reporting for the majority

of personal auto business at Selective.

Responsibilities:

. Involved in analysis of requirements & analyzing existing message flows.

. Designed Message Flows and WMB-Message Sets for the Data Translation and

Smith Barney is a division of Citigroup Global Capital Markets and will

develop processes to produce a series of batch files. The detailed layout

of these files will be created by Smith Barney and will be provided as

input for the requirement. In addition to the detail records, Smith Barney

will also provide Header and Trailer processing on the batch file. 7 output

sequential files (Profile, Funding, Authorization, Account Restrictions,

Account Termination, Contributions, and Distributions) will be created on

mainframe and through NDM will be relayed to other systems.
