Medical College and Hospital, Manipal (2005- 2007) under the following
sections.
> Worked with Trivedi & Roy Diagnostic, Kolkata as a Microbiologist from
2007 -2008.
> Worked for a project of Merck in AMRI Hospital, Kolkata in the year
2007 regarding determination of standard antibiotic protocol for most
commonly isolated organisms from various clinical specimens.
> Taken active participation in sentry surveillance.
> Worked as a Consultant Microbiologist with Metropolis Health services
Ltd. from Nov 2009 to March 2014
> Worked as a Consultant Microbiologist with Suraksha diagnostics from
Oct 2012 to Nov 2013
> Worked as a Microbiologist and an Infection control officer in
Bhagirathi Neotia woman and child care center August 2011 to Mar 2014
Teaching Experience
> Worked as a Demonstrator/ Tutor in Dept. of Microbiology, of KPC
Medical College, Jadavpur, and Kolkata since October 2008 to October
2012 for undergraduate Medical (MBBS) students.
> Worked as a lecturer in Shova Rani Nursing College, Jadavpur, Kolkata
from October 2008-2010 for undergraduate and post basic nursing
students.
> Worked as a guest lecturer in Peerless Hospital & B K Roy Research
Centre for Physiotherapy for 2 years.
> Working as a lecturer in Neotia Academy of Nursing College for

Accreditation (College of American Pathologist) and NABL Accreditation
(National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration
Laboratories) for Trivedi & Roy Diagnostic, Suraksha diagnostics and
Bhagirathi Neotia woman and child care center.
> Was responsible for preparing Microbiology, Serology and Molecular
Biology SOP
> Responsible for developing the framework for infection control
practices
> Involved in regular training sessions for Lab Technicians
Research Experience
> Worked on various enhancing factors for Biofilm as a virulence marker
for Vibrio cholerae. It was seen that in higher concentration of Salt,
lower concentration of Mannose and at room temperature the formation
of biofilm is enhanced which gave us an idea that biofilm of Vibrio
cholerae has more of ecological importance than clinical significance.
The production of biofilm in the marine environment is one of the main
reasons for the epidemics.
> Detection of Cryptosporidium in stool specimen using PCR.
