PROFILE
A dynamic Telecom Professional with extensive hands on SDH,
PTN, NG-SDH, DWDM and OTN based Optical Fiber Transmission Networks.
Demonstrable experience of almost 7 years in Operation and Maintenance,
Project Execution, acceptance testing and commissioning of Optical fiber
based products of ZTE.
I am providing Level 2 support from BACK OFFICE for Operation and
Maintenance of Long Haul DWDM/SDH Network. I have performed media
configuration for Circuit Switch Networks i.e. E1's and Packet Switch
Networks i.e. EPL, EVPL, EPLAN and EVPTREE Services for NGN, High Speed
Internet (HSI), IPTV, and VOIP on NG-SDH and PTN Network. I have also
performed Power Debugging of Lambda's for IP-MPLS, Pakistan Internet
Exchange (PIE), Broadband Remote Access Server (BRAS), and NG-SDH services
on WASON Based DWDM Network.
Vast exposure of Project execution and acceptance tests like
receiver sensitivity, 24 hours E1 Bit error rate(BER), jitter performance,
automatic protection switching(APS),Multiplex Section Protection(MSP) using
Advance Network Tester( ANT 20) for ZTE SDH, NG_SDH and Optical Spectrum
Analyzer(OSA) for testing of DWDM and OTN equipment.
I have worked with Telecom Operators like PTCL, ZONG and Telenor Pakistan
and having strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
In addition, I am working as Transport engineer (Part Time) for SM
Consulting Canada. I have worked on Detail Design Packages (DDP's) for
Rogers Communication Canada and MTS All Stream Canada.
My Responsibilities include
. Make DDP as per Engineering Plan of Rogers Communication for
Transport Network.
. Worked on DDP for CIENA OME6500, CPL-ROADM Optical Network.
. Worked on DDP of CIENA 3916 for E100 and E1000 Services.
. Worked on DDP for DCN Connectivity of CPL-ROADM with RCMIN
Router/Switch.
. Finalize BOM, Cable Run List, MOP for each site along with DDP.
. Worked on DDP for E10 and E100 Services from Alcatel 7210(SAS),
Alcatel 7450(ESS) and Alcatel 7750 to CIENA 3916(at customer end) for
MTS All Stream.
