VARIOUS PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
1) Assisted in outsourcing Core Department function so Cast Metals Division could focus on
their core competency.
2) Primary leader in technological transition from old Axapta to new Microsoft Dynamics
2009 within Cast Metals Division.
3) Promoted to Production Supervisor and successfully supervising 20 United Steelworkers employees
within CMO Molding, Finishing, Shipping, and Paint Departments.
4) Primary contributor in implementation of pyrometer testing at Disamatic and Hunter machine which will
help reduce temperature defects significantly. This tool was thought of and researched by me before
implementation and will have tracking ability to hold Pourers accountable to their work. This tool is also
used to track the Pourers efficiency too.
5) Took the initiative to paint the different departments within the Cast Metals Division. Also painted
Clearance boxes in front of electrical panels, eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, fire exits
throughout the facility and was awarded the Spotlight Award for safety while doing so.
6) Designed a daily requirements board for Molding and Paint Departments that will hold
employees accountable to their work and help union employees understand the supervisor’s
expectations.
7) Created SOP’s within employee workstations throughout Finishing and Molding Departments so they
can better understand their duties and responsibilities within their positions.
8) Designed an inflow and outflow layout for the pattern area so that both Pattern Custodian and
Jitney Driver has better accessibility to patterns. Assisted in new workstation relocation for Pattern
Custodian
9) Designed a new slag container to make slag dumping process more efficient, effective, and safe.
10) Designed a purchasing spreadsheet for supervisors that will help control cost spend throughout the
entire shop floor.
11) Successfully implemented the use of RTCIM scan guns within cell#4. The operators now have to
Scan their pallet and carton labels. By doing this it now increases the accountability at the
operator level.
