Project Description

This project envisages in development of instrument cluster for

US variant of Ford model. It consist of Customized LCD which

displays different critical warnings, Trip meter, odometer and fuel

level indicator and this has got different gauges like Speedo, Fuel

level, Engine temperature. This Instrument cluster also consists of

different warning and information indicators through Telltales

provided. This replaces existing mechanical and VMS systems as a

unique system at the cost lower than mechanical cluster.

. Design and Development of Instrument Cluster Menu Title, Menu

Navigation, SST, Trailer Information, Fixed Telltale and Cruise

control logic and presentation.

. Design and Development of warning popup logic and presentation.

The Project has been designed and developed with Night vision

multipurpose camera. The Night vision supports the driver in dark

situation. Warns the driver by highlighting the object. Avoid the

accident in High beam conditions. Early recognition of dangerous

situations. Three times more extended field of view compared to

conventional low beam headlights without binding oncoming traffic.

Improved view in case of glare from oncoming vehicle. They main

features are Intelligent night vision, Road sign recognition, Lane

departure warning, Object detection & Collision prevention,

Communication and SMS is fallback mode. Product runs on the solar

energy.

Geocomm is a vehicle tracking project. This unit Receives data

from GPS Satellites extracting useful information then it makes a

string according to ASL protocol and sends it to control

station(server) using GPRS and SMS is fallback mode. This string

contains information about location, distance travelled, time, unit

id etc. Event based tracking is also available. Call provision is

also there.

Intelligent Vehicle Tracking Systems is an Automatic vehicle

tracking and monitoring using the touch screen Based Mobile Data

Terminal (MDT). The RFID card reader attached to the MDT registers

start and stop of a training session by reading the personal

parameters from the individual cards. It reads two cards, those of

the instructor and student, at the same time. The MDT Receives data

from GPS Satellite and extract useful information then it makes a

string according to ASL Protocol and sends it to control

station(server) using GPRS Communication.

GeoPAS is a GPS Loco pilot Assistance system designed to be placed

lamp alarm, whenever any landmark comes with in the Geo-fence range.

speed of the Locomotive, time to reach, distance to reach, current

and upcoming two landmarks.
