It is a workable concept that can help to meet the growing need of electricity in the world.

In this, we have used the ratchet mechanism to generate electricity by converting the potential energy of the vehicle into

electric energy.

It can be used at traffic signals, basement parking, etc. or any other place where there is a heavy flow of traffic,

successfully.

The electricity generated is in the form of D.C and can be stored which further can be used when required for running

traffic lights, street lights, parking lights etc.
