1 Maintaining Procurement Schedule for the Project which contains Planned Vs Actual

dates for Purchase.

2 Receiving Purchase requisition (PR) / material Requisition (MR) from Planning / Project

Manager.

3Floating enquiry to the vendors as per approved.

Receiving quotations – Technical offers Commercial offers.

5Carrying out Technical and Commercial evaluation and prepare comparison statement.

6Arranging Negotiation meetings with vendors.

7Taking approval of President (Commercial) on the comparison statement after finalization of Order.

8Preparing Purchase Order in SAP Business One .

9Making PO entry in Budget Chart if PO value is within budget.

11Correspondence with suppliers for Drawing approval, QAP approval, MTC, Final release

notes, Guarantee/Warranty certificates etc as applicable.

12Following up with vendors for getting the material within schedule.

13 Receiving Invoice / MTC (Release note; if any) from supplier. Receive GRN / Challan

from stores / site.

4)Rectification of material quality defects based on feedback from R & D, Production

And Quality.

B)Vendor Development :-

1)To optimize cost and finalizing components cost like fabrication works, Packaging mats. and

machining parts.

2)Cost analysis and costing of various engineering parts required for projects as per Drawings.

3)Supplier quality monitoring.

4)Follow up with vendor for delivery of material.

5)Co-ordinate with quality, production, stores, assembly and account department.
