Project Experience:
OSGB Project :
The project was of Positional accuracy and updating the master
map of Great Britain.
Worked in PAI dept. for 2.5 years. The job involves shifting
of old data up to the positional accuracy as per current image
provided by Ordnance Survey, looking after the relativity of
features and also maintaining the geometry of every features.
Worked in UPDATION dept. for 1 year where the job involves
updating the entire features as per current ortho photo and
specification duly provided by Ordnance Survey of Great Britain
.
Total Experience in DTM: 3.5 years
DTM of OSGB :
The project is undertaken by Kampsax Geoplan in association with
Kampsax(I) Ltd.
The Ariel photography (scale-1:10000) and scanning of
photographs have been done by Kampsax Geoplan whereas the AT,
DTM generation and its rectification has been done by KIL for
preparation of final orthophoto. I am involved in the DTM
editing, project review, preparation of work flow time
scheduling, preparing of check-list, project monitoring and
delivery of the DTM block.
Software used: Socet set 5.4.1
Total Experience in DTM: 6 months
Taken few days training in VR Software for vector mapping.
Ortho photo generation: Worked as Photogrammetric Technologist
in the ortho photo division.

Worked in PMDC project and Telecom project which includes
capturization of buildings and other planimetric features in 2D
interface in Micro Station and Procart 600 software.
3D Modeling-
Worked in Swiss project and Doha project
LIDAR Experience:-
A) Presently working as Project coordinator comprising a team of 15
operators in Lidar and have experience in handling Lidar project
independently in all processes.
B) Started the LIDAR career with classification of raw cloud point into
different planimetric layers and making bare earth model. This
includes preparation of raw data through automated process (Macro) and
preparation of project file.
C) Worked for the urban and rural map of European countries
for the classification of air bourn laser points in
different layers. Preparation of the LAS format,
classification of DTM and DSM and other layers according to
the surface, preparation of DEM,validation and delivery.
D) Extraction of building from point cloud and vectroziation
of planimetric and vegetation both 2D and 3D interface in
support of point cloud available from the client.
E) Preparation of macros which includes automated
classification of DTM and DSM points. Macro preparation for
automated classification for all planemetric features and
different type of vegetation. Macros for preparation of
vectors out of point clouds
F) Worked in Power line projects. It includes preparation of
corridor and creation of buffer as per client's
requirement. Classification of catenaries and other
adjoining features from raw point cloud within the area of
interest.
G) Vectorization of catenaries, tower and other features in 2D
and 3D interface.
H) Mobile mapping1- The job involves vectorization of road
barriers in 3D view within the limit of the specifications
and lidar points provided by client.
I) Mobile mapping2- Worked in mobile mapping in Railway
project of Brisbane in MESH process. This process involves
preparation of the ballast within the Railway area and
generation of contours and converting the same in points,
thus making the terrain exactly the same as viewed in the
video provided by the client. This also involves ground
editing in LIDAR points. Different types of bridges and
tunnels within the trajectories are taken care off.
Conversation of points from the vector of road and
buildings are also a part of this process.
J) Railway Mapping: The job involves vectorization of railway
track and its surrounding features in 3D interface from
Lidar points.
K) Cross section: Vectorization of culverts along the edge of
river with the help of point clouds.
Software used: Micro station V8 andV8i with Terra Scan and Terra
Model, Terra photo and Terra match.
Total Lidar experience : 6 years
Worked as a faculty member in Cowi training School designated as
Lidar trainer.
