Previous work Experience:

Previously employed for 11 years in law enforcement before making a commitment

to health care as a career change. My work history in law enforcement included

serving as a patrol officer with Statham (GA) Police Department (2005-2011);

Auburn (GA) Police Department (2004); and Hall County (GA) Sheriff's Office (2000-

2004). This experience in law enforcement demanded the ability to work in a fast

paced environment, interact with the public in a professional manner, handle

multiple tasks simultaneously, and document and report detailed information with

100% accuracy.

My current employment is with Solstas Lab Partners that has joined with Quest

Diagnostics. With Solstas I perform phlebotomy for doctors offices taking orders for

specific test, use diagnostic codes, use order of draw and perform multiple vein

punctures a day.

Previously I was with Life South Blood Bank as a Team Lead Supervisor as of

August 06 2012 -July 26 2013. My duties consist of assigning work locations for my

fellow co- workers, ensuring that blood drives flow smooth, safe and efficient while

properly documenting all paperwork and proper safety protocols at FDA standards

and to ensure donor comfort. I have been preforming phlebotomy since March 2012.

I am self-motivated, dependable, and a good team player. I have the grace to interact

with people of all ages and ethnicity. I'm friendly, polite and have great compassion

and bed side manners towards others. I am seeking to move to a healthcare system

to practice phlebotomy and EKG.
