Entrepreneurial – Created and started a new residential & remodeling construction business that grew significantly
and evolved into new residential, light commercial construction and Planned Unit Community Development (both
single and multi-family use), including creation of business plans, raising capital, city/county/state planning,
establishing end-end processes, implementing quality & service excellence standards, complete purveyor
management, managing employees and subcontractors, and establishing superior company standards.
Business Development/Sales - Grew business to $3.1M a year in residential home gross sales within the first 10
years.
Residential Home Building – General Contractor for Complete End-End New Home Construction. Built more than
300+ new single-family homes in Northeast Ohio. This included both custom and spec homes ranging in size from
1,500 to 7,000 sq. ft. Average time to completion, excluding outliers, was 90-120 days.
Program/Project Management – continuously led 5-8 ongoing construction projects over 30+ years. Oversight and
execution of quality assurance, operational efficiency, materials management, risk management, vendor

meetings, developing relationships with real estate sales organizations, sales and pre-sales to residential builders,
complete vendor management, managing employees and subcontractors.
Business Development/Sales – Averaged 3x ROI on land development acquisitions with start-to-finish ranging from
9 months to 5 years.
Planned Unit Community Development – Purchased land, designed layout (included sub-dividing lots, easement and
drainage planning, lighting, leveraging existing topology to create aesthetically pleasing communities). Participated
in the development of more than 20+ communities in Northeast Ohio. These communities ranged in size from 50 to
300 lots for single family homes and multi-family dwellings that ranged in size from 10 to 50 units. Average time to
completion for building was 90-120 days.
