Responsible for the P&L of 8 DCs, strategic planning and new business
solutions development. Start-up operations, coach, and mentor new managers
to meet strategic goals and objectives, and standards of excellence in all
parts of distribution management operations, financial controls and
metrics. I facilitate facility design, and layouts, WMS implementation

Ryder, Plainfield, IN 2002-2004
Planned and executed as a Groups Logistics Manager II, I held full
operational and P&L responsibility for (839,000 sq foot pick and pack)
distribution center, generating $500 million in product distribution. Lead,
train and develop cross-functional team of 540 employees-hourly,
supervisors and managers-(12 direct reports) and manage $22 million annual
operating budget.
Selected accomplishments:
. Delivered astute strategies that increased productivity more than 20%
and saved $1.5 million in budget expenses leading to facility awarded
"Best Improved Operation" in 2003.
. Surpassed performance objectives; initiated cost-saving strategies
that led to operating below budget for 16 consecutive months. Reduced

RYDER, DISTRIBUTION WAREHOUSE MANAGER, 2001
Strategically planned and managed Distribution/Warehouse Operations in
General Electric Corp and coordinate Appliance Parts Distribution Center

productivity improvement, inventory control, operational management,

Promoted to manage and direct P&L and budget planning of $7 million in
annual revenue as 3PL provider for distribution encompassing 400,000 sq
foot. Oversaw $3 million in combined assets, including transportation
assets in Maryland. Additional scope of responsibility included warehousing
and shipping for four major tobacco companies. Provided expert training and
development for staff of 60+ including managers and hourly. Held complete
accountability for operating budgets, team productivity and customer
relations; acted as direct liaison to ensure infrastructure throughout
logistical supply chain.
As GM, guided total operations for order fulfillment, leading staff of
185+. Accountable for P&L of estimated $7 million in annual revenue and $50
million in FILA product distribution (350,000 square foot). Oversaw $10
million in rotating stock inventory.

. Streamlined and enhanced processes and achieved 100% on-time
deliveries to all customers.
. Improved P&L net revenues by 3% in five months, reaching 10% in eight
