• I am knowledgeable about furniture manufacturing and assembly line techniques.

• I have experience as a competitive high school and college athlete, assistant coach, and

athletic sports trainer.

• I have the ability to assist, serve, and manage in the restaurant and grocery store settings.

• I am familiar with residential lawn and garden care.

• Carolina Furniture Works May 2006-present (Summers full time May-August; part

time September-April) Work in manufacturing plant on the

assembly line making bedroom furniture.

Gamecocks Football Team)

• Mary Ann’s Deli August 2010-present (Serve as a substitute cashier/server)

• Piggly Wiggly Sumter June 2007-May 2010 (bag boy at the Lafayette site)

• Residential Yard Work Summer 2004-2011 (lawn and garden care for the

Fergusons)

LEADERSHIP

• I attended Boys State the summer 2009 at USC Columbia.

• I was selected by Laurence Manning Academy to attend a Leadership Forum on National

Security in February 2008.

• I served as the Laurence Manning Soccer Team Captain 2009-2010.

• I received the Coach’s Leadership Award 2010.

COMMUNICATION

My verbal and written communication skills allow me to effectively work with a diversity of

individuals in different situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

I am familiar with all of the Microsoft Office Suite, but am most confident with Word and Excel.

I am proficient in Internet searching using a variety of search engines such as Google and a

variety of subject specific Online Databases.

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES

• Each summer I participate in church missions work including trips to West Virginia, New

Orleans, LA, and Sumter, SC to help rebuild houses and teach Vacation Bible Schools.

• I frequently teach Sunday school class for middle school boys.

• Through my church activities I help feed the homeless and work at the men’s homeless

shelter.

• I volunteered in the Anderson Library at USC Sumter during the summers 2004-2007.
