Chief Information Officer, HIPAA Security Officer

Set the strategic technology direction for company offering full-service

urgent care centers in six states. Managed department staff, extensive

projects and $5.8M capital expense budget. Served as trusted C-level

advisor and key member of the executive team driving business strategy.

Directed all core IT functions including architecture, hardware

acquisitions, software development and project management.

o Scaled technology operations to aid company growth from seven urgent

care centers to 79 over four years to become one of the largest urgent

care company in the US. Infrastructure is scalable to growth of 200+

centers.

o Designed and launched IT department from a staff of two to 33,

establishing entire operational structure including staff hiring and

training, policies and procedures, technology build, and application

development.

o Collaborated and managed the development of a company-wide employee

intranet.

o Authored essential documents for implementation in all locations

including five-year IT strategic plan, electronic use policy, HIPAA

compliance manual, and physical security policy.

o Managed the development of an automated procurement, purchasing

approval internal user application.

o Saved as much as $1.2 million in 2011 one year leading vendor contract

o Built 90TB data center with environmental controls, disaster recovery

Chief Information Officer, Enterprise Technology Manager

Designed, implemented, and maintained all technology systems for both NW3C

and its sister organization, the Internet Crime Complain Center. Fostered

the development of Congressionally funded nonprofit organization providing

training for state and local law enforcement agencies to combat economic

and cyber crimes. Provided strategic and tactical leadership for entire IT

function including hardware, software development, applications, and

network support.

o Drove dramatic organizational growth by building two enterprise data

centers supporting operations of the NW3C corporate staff and the

Internet Crime Complaint Center, a joint venture with the FBI.

o Developed collaborative websites that gathered terrorist tips in the

wake of 9/11 and established a database of more than two million

Internet-related crimes.

o Managed the development of the NW3C membership portal, employee

intranet, public website, and other key strategic initiatives.

o Implemented new information and communication systems for voice, data,
