Profile
Extensive experience as a senior level director of capital projects in both the public and private sector. Such experience
is gained by successfully managing portfolios, programs and projects. Work experience includes leveraging business and
technical skills in developing strategic projects by building successfully cohesive teams that deliver results and by
ensuring projects meet their objectives and deliverables are met with appropriate communication and stakeholder
management.
Presently spearheads the daily operations of multiple design and construction projects and system wide initiates with
capital budgets from various public funding sources totaling an excess of $250 million dollars. Additionally
collaborating with executive leadership to secure and identify master plan implementations of $830 million dollars of
public funding (bonds) to support the health systems 10 year capital plan.
The scopes of work span the 16 divisions of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) code. Accountable for
managing the multiple phases of planning, programming, design and construction projects to their final closeout. This is
achieved by collaboration during design phases, constructability reviews of plans, preparation of bid advertisements,
project management, and final closeout of projects.

space to replace existing x ray radiology equipment in the Emergency Department / Trauma Center on the first
floor of the East Tower and the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

ED CT Scanner Replacement Project $1.2M Competitive Award, which required services to renovate existing

space in order to replace an existing CT Scanner in the Emergency Department on the first floor of the East
Tower at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Radiology Design/Build Project $6M Design Build, which required Design/Build services to the existing

space in order to replace existing Radiology X Ray, Nuclear Medicine, and CT Scan equipment at Jackson
Memorial Hospital.

The Memorial Regional Hospital project involved a variety of construction projects. The

projects are as listed:

Fourth Floor Wound Healing Center Build out – $1M CM at Risk, which consisted of 4,000

SQ. FT. of improvements to the four floors of the In fill building within the existing hospital. The
intended use of the renovated area was to accommodate an outpatient wound care center housing five
(5) class “B” hyperbaric chambers. This project did not affect the existing bed census of the hospital.

Fifth Floor Lab Build out $4M CM at Risk, which consisted of an interior renovation of an
w
existing hospital ancillary space to accommodate the core lab, transfusion services, microbiology, and
administration. The lab project was approximately 14,150 SQ. FT.

The Pediatric and Adult Emergency Department Renovation and Addition $16M CM at
w
Risk, consisted of 32,000 SQ. FT. of renovation work to accommodate the expansion to the pediatric
emergency department and adult addition. The scope included but not limited to house 48 exam rooms,
isolation rooms, triages and waiting areas along with other operational features. The renovation work
did not alter, remove, replace or add to the existing bed census of the hospital.

rooms, a special cardiac surgery area, an endoscopy suite and a rooftop helistop with elevators linked
directly to the trauma and surgery areas. The project included functional changes to public access,
hospital common areas and first floor retail spaces.
