Sept. 06-Sept.13 SENCO and Early Years practitioner, St. Paul’s Pre-School,
Winchester
This role included; planning activities in accordance with
curriculum guidelines, teaching and leading circle time
activities. I was a key worker for eight children and responsible
for observing and monitoring the progress of these children.
Additionally, I was the SENCO at St Paul’s.

2006 Supply Play worker, Crescent Primary School
At the out of school club I helped to organise and supervise
various forms of play and other activities for the children. During
half-term this was extended to trips in the Eastleigh area.
1998- 1999 After school club teacher, Cherbourg Primary School
I was responsible for teaching cartoon drawing to a class of 5-11 year olds.
Each week I designed worksheets to a theme that we were
looking at and gave age appropriate advice and encouragement
to the children.

1994.1998
As a play worker I devised and organised art activities for the
children aged 3- 4 years old. Also I arranged general play
activities and supervised them. I also attended to children’s
physical and emotional needs.
1994-1999 After school club yoga teacher, Stoke Park Junior School
I taught a balance of yoga postures and relaxation to seven to
eleven year olds. I encouraged the class to rid themselves of
tension at the end of the school day by introducing games and
group activities based on yoga postures.

I taught basic yoga techniques of stretching and relaxation. I
devised adaptations suitable for older people and their specific
needs.
Interests
My main interest is painting and drawing. I have had exhibitions in
Staffordshire where I previously lived. I have had two exhibitions at the Link
Gallery at the University of Winchester in 2003 and 2005. For relaxation and
exercise I practise yoga regularly. I am also an avid reader of modern
literature.
