American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters Fair Market Rate Study. Crafted
ASL statewide survey and tools for required data to assess regional ASL
interpreter pay expectations and potential service gaps. Also, canvassed
five comparable states regarding their ASL interpreter pay practices.
Deliverables included electronic web-based data collection & storage tool,
tracked call attempts to interpreters, secured portal access for real-time
status reports, and documented outcomes of data analysis for findings.
Built solid relationship to establish study criteria between Brandt with
DOE/DVR. Hosted status meetings, generated study notifications,
benchmarked deliverables for invoicing, ensured criteria and tools met
requirements with UAT, and prepared Call Center agents to conduct survey.
Final report outlined ASL interpreter's current pay rates and practices by
regions and by ASL certification levels, and identified service gaps.
