Skills:
I can use my skills to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical
code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Test
electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
I can install, examine, replace or repair AC/DC Motors and Drives, PLC's, power, control
circuits, switchgear, transformers, motors, starters, relays and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical
controls. I am able to install, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes,
conduits, feeders, fibre-optic, coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, as well as fabricate, run
and install conduit, cable tray, 3-Phase assembles, motor terminations, transformers, electrical
panels, fire alarm, control and instrument troubleshooting.
I am also capable of installing, examining, replacing or repairing generators, alternators
and industrial storage batteries. Size and install electrical circuits including panels, wire size and
type, conduit, protective devices, switches, and related equipment needed to comply with the
CEC. When needed I can quickly repair electrical failures and replace parts where production
time is affected.
